Privacy Policy

The data controller is Arturs Dudarevs (Latvia), operator of ORAKULS. Contact for privacy matters: support@orakuls.com.

Account: email, name, display name, password (stored securely by our auth provider).

Profile: birth date, birth time and birthplace (for astrology/natal chart), zodiac, gender (optional), language, timezone, character/hero choice, personal phrase, profile photo.

Content you create: Keeper (AI) chat messages, opt-in Keeper Memory, private notebook entries, dream descriptions, tarot questions and results, Places of Power posts and comments, uploaded photos (including avatar-likeness photos).

Usage & technical: in-app activity and rewards, structured analytics events (metadata only — no message content), online-presence signals, push subscription tokens, device location only while you actively use map features (used live, never stored as coordinates — only an on/off preference).

Billing: payment and subscription records (card details are handled by Stripe and never reach ORAKULS servers).

To provide the Service and features you request (performance of contract). To process payments and subscriptions (contract / legal obligation). To personalize your experience — daily flow, insights, the Keeper (consent for optional memory; legitimate interest for basic personalization from in-app signals). To keep the Service safe — moderation, abuse and fraud prevention (legitimate interest / legal obligation). To comply with legal and accounting obligations.

Features like the Keeper, tarot, dreams, insights, news and voice use AI. Your inputs for those features are processed by AI providers to generate a response. Keeper Memory is off by default; when enabled, it stores a sanitized, length-capped summary of themes (not verbatim logs), which you can view, reset, or disable anytime. Notebook content is used by the Keeper only if you have Premium or an active trial.

We use trusted third parties only to run the Service: payment processing (Stripe); AI providers of large-language-model, text-to-speech, and speech-to-text services (including Google and platform-managed model providers); astrology/geo calculation and place-name geocoding services (place names only, no user identifier); map tile data provider; authentication, hosting, database, email, and analytics infrastructure provider; browser push services for opted-in notifications. These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards. Some may process data outside the EU/EEA under lawful transfer mechanisms.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your private chats or notebook to advertise to you. Analytics never include your message or journal content.

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, and to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. In the app you can export your data (a self-service JSON download via a time-limited secure link) and delete your account (self-service, two-step; this cancels any active subscription first, then erases your data and account).

Retained after deletion (only where legally required, containing no chat or journal content): billing/accounting records (legal/tax obligation), a trial-eligibility record keyed to your email (fraud/abuse prevention), and safety-violation records (abuse prevention). You may also contact support@orakuls.com to exercise any right, and you may lodge a complaint with the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija) or your local supervisory authority.

We keep your data while your account is active. After deletion, data is erased except the limited records above, kept only as long as legally required.

We use server-side access controls, per-user data isolation, encrypted payment handling (via Stripe), and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

ORAKULS is for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

We may update this Policy; material changes will be notified in-app or by email.
